This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) provides you with information regarding the collection and processing of your personal data by Teleste Corporation (having its registered office at Telestenkatu 1, 20660 Littoinen, Finland) and its subsidiaries (“Teleste”).


The collection and processing of personal data is based on your consent. By accepting the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy you give your explicit consent for Teleste to collect and process the provided personal data for the purposes defined in this Privacy Policy.


When visiting Teleste www pages, certain technical and other information is automatically sent by your computer to Teleste (e.g. IP address and the type of your browser). Teleste may also collect information about your website usage by using cookies. This technology enables users who have already visited Teleste www pages to see targeted advertising on the websites of the Google partner network. The information generated by the cookie about the use of Teleste www pages will be transmitted to and stored on servers in the United States by Google. Teleste www pages may utilize the Conversion Tracking Pixel service of Facebook Inc. This tool allows Teleste to understand and deliver ads and make them more relevant to you. Teleste is able to record the efficacy of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The collected data remain anonymous. This means that Teleste cannot see the personal data of any individual user. However, the collected data are saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook may be able to connect the data with your Facebook account and use the data for their own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Use Policy found under: Facebook Conversion Tracking also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside Facebook. You can opt-out of Facebook’s use of cookies and Facebook Pixel Re-Marketing through settings on your Facebook Account.

Teleste may use the Conversion Tracking service of Twitter Inc. This tracking records if a user of Teleste www pages clicks on a link posted by Twitter. In this way, both Teleste and Twitter can see if a registration has taken place. The identity of the user remains anonymous. In addition, we may use Twitter’s Tailored Audiences service. This enables us to appeal to Teleste www pages’s users with targeted advertisements. To do this, Twitter uses a code snippet (tag) which we may have integrated into Teleste www pages. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of JavaScript code on Teleste www pages that we may use to enable campaign reporting and insights about website visitors. LinkedIn Insight Tag can be used to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and have insights about LinkedIn members/non-members interacting with Teleste ads. Teleste www pages use marketing automation software from vendors operating on Teleste’s behalf, which use third-party cookies to track Teleste www pages use. When you visit Teleste www pages, the cookie stores traffic data linked to the unique ID of the cookie in the browser. If you identify yourself by volunteering personal data, e.g. by filling in a contact form, logging in to Teleste www pages or clicking on links in an e-mail sent by Teleste, the cookie’s unique user ID is linked to the personal data volunteered by the user. Due to technical and practical requirements of processing, some personal data may be located at servers of Teleste’s subcontractors or processed by Teleste’s subcontractors. Teleste may provide aggregate statistics about its customers, sales, traffic patterns, and other related Teleste www pages information to reputable third parties, but these statistics will include no personal data.

However, as a global corporation consisting of multiple companies in various countries, Teleste has international sites and may use resources located throughout the world. Teleste may from time to time also use third parties to act on Teleste’s behalf. When carrying out the aforementioned data transfers and/or disclosures, Teleste follows the principles set out in the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable personal data legislation to enable the protection of your personal data.
